1/ From Me To You was reportedly performed by the Fabs at the rehearsal. So far, no confirmed tape of the performance has surfaced, although one bootleg listed it.

2/ Dear old departed Mal Evans was George Harrison for a day.

3/ It has been written that George Harrison got shot full of "vitamins" by a friendly doctor so the quiet one could make the gig.

4/ Murray The K, whom John Lennon referred to as "Wanker The K," and since Mur had no idea what a wanker was, he laughed.

1/ Chris e-mailed to say that the hey Jude album featured the song hey Jude in a stereo mix for the first time, and Chris was right.

2/ The original Yellow Submarine mono LP was a simple reduction of the stereo version to monophonic sound.

3/ For reasons not clearly defined up to this point, Abbey Road was released in Japan on CD in late 1983. It was later withdrawn.

4/ By the time of the release of Magical Mystery Tour-the last North American issued Beatle album mixed in, and released in the mono format-the balance had shifted to stereo sales.

1/ Yes, BS&T, and no one seemed to care.

2/ Sorry Fred, so far, the FULL Hendrix ser has NOT been officially released in any legit format.
Two songs sung by a band mate, including Gypsy Woman, have never made the cut.

3/ Yes, those rascally Dead boys would not take a cheque, and forced promoters to go into town and wake a banker, open his vault, and get the band's dough., or no show.

4/ The short-lived Kosmic Blues Band backed Janis, but would soon be out.

5/ Yes Fast Freddy, there was an omission, although the Who's Summertime Blues was NEVER on the original LP soundtrack in any of it's forms; movie only. (A mono boot of the complete Who Woodstock 69 show has circulated, however). But the song that was left off the 25 Anny box that had fans and critics scratching their heads and bitchin', was in fact Wooden Ships, by Crosby Stills, Nash and Young. Finally, the Woodstock Diary I was thinking of was a companion 1994 singles CD release to the box set, that included otherwise unreleased material, including Sly and the Family Stone.
